The DT1 defrost discharge thermostat is designed to be used with Lennox thermostats that have dual fuel capabilities and setable balance points. The thermostat allows for the furnace to cycle on and off during a defrost in order to temper the discharge air, and it protects the compressor from high refrigeration pressures during defrost.
